After many years of sharing stories through Creative Memories photo albums and digital storybooks, I wanted to create a blog to help explore the options to continue saving and sharing our stories for the future generations. I lost both my Mama and Daddy to Alzheimer's disease in the past three years, so I know first hand how important it is to capture our memories and tell those stories before they are gone and lost forever.
I was a loyal Creative Memories consultant for 10 years...right to the very end. I have lots of traditional scrapbooking supplies and many completed books lining my shelves. When Creative Memories launched Memory Manager, a way to organize all of our digital photos and then Storybook Creator, software to create digital books... I fell in love with Digital Scrapbooking and the Digi Divas were born! We formed a group and got together once a month to share our excitement in what we had learned to do in our digital world. We still get together but sadly, only a couple of times this year. So this blog is to reunite the DIVAS and hopefully inspire many more.
As you may or may not know, Panstoria is the company that developed Creative Memories' Memory Manager and Storybook software. As of December 31, 2013, users of those programs still have the ability to use the software, but they no longer have any technical support. So what if your computer crashes? At some point you will need to replace your CM software. By purchasing Artisan (Storybook) and Historian (Memory Manager) software from Panstoria we are ensuring that our digital artwork and storybooks can continue to be safe with updated software and great technical support.
